Karol Ilagan

Karol Ilagan is an assistant professor at the University of the Philippines Diliman, where she teaches investigative reporting and data journalism. Before joining the academe, she led investigations and collaborative projects at the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, a Manila-based nonprofit.

Ilagan is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and has been a fellow with the Pulitzer Center’s Rainforest Investigations and AI Accountability networks. She is also an alumna of the University of Missouri Columbia, where she was a Fulbright scholar.
